FINGERS VS BRUSH: LET’S SETTLE THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL!

FINGERS VS BRUSH: LET’S SETTLE THIS ONCE AND FOR ALL!

Drumrolls!

BOTH ARE USEFUL DEPENDING ON THE PRODUCT YOU ARE USING SO DON’T WORRY WE ARE NOT HERE TO BASH FINGERS!

Professional makeup brushes from the Sensei range by Makeup Secrets.

Fingers, for example, work well for products that require a little warming up before combining. (Think of concealer, cosmetic primer, and cream eye shadows, to name a few.) If you want to apply the product with your fingers, the ring finger is the best choice because it applies the least amount of pressure. Don’t forget to always tap rather than dab. Pressing in eye makeup with your fingers is recommended for metallic shades  because it provides the best colour payoff. Fingers are however a sanitary concern so washing your hands before makeup application is a must if you don’t want sudden breakouts.

Makeup brushes unlike fingers are good for precise application. For a perfectly blended look, use a light hand when applying makeup with any from our ranges of good quality premium professional makeup brushes. Rather than applying all of the product at once, gradually add more until you achieve the desired coverage. Start with little and build it up.

Another advantage of using a makeup brush is coverage. Fingers simply cannot replicate the coverage that a makeup brush can offer. Our foundation brush, which is a fluffy and densely packed brush does not absorb anything, it only deposits what it has already collected and thus provides better coverage than fingers.

Hope we settled the debate. Both are good but of course brushes are better and more sanitary so you choose
